Day 1Fes - Ifran - Middle Atlas Mountains- Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

We will meet you at your Riad/hotel in Fes and pick you up at 08 a.m., heading to the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi. Have a short break in the charming city of Ifran (listed as the second cleanest city in the world in 2015), then have another break in the UNESCO-listed cedar forest, where you can spot the endangered barbary apes you can feed.

After lunch, which will take place in the Midelt, you’ll cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains and then the Ziz Gorge before taking pictures in the panoramic palm Ziz Valley.

You’ll then drive through the palm oasis of Tafilalet before reaching the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in the late evening—a warm welcome as a Moroccan ritual with mint tea to freshen up.

Day 2Explore The Desert - Camel Trekking and night in the desert

Today, you’ll spend most of the day exploring what the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi offers. Learn about the traditional system of irrigation known as “Khettaras,” where water is conveyed from afar with a sophisticated system of wells interconnected with the underground channel. This system has been providing the oasis with water for irrigation as well as for the local inhabitants. Have time for entertainment in Khamlia Village, inhabited by a tribe of dark complexions brought as enslaved people from the Sub-Saharan Lands. The spiritual music known as Gnawa Music, performed daily for guest visitors, will cherish your heart.

Now, it’s time to have a complete tour around the giant dune field of Erg Chebbi while visiting a nomad family so that you can learn about their lifestyle.

In the late afternoon, you’ll experience a camel ride through the soft, golden sand while enjoying the stunning sunset view. Then, have a nice dinner in our tented restaurant or under the stars before spending the night in the camp.

Day 3Merzouga desert - Erfoud - Tinjdad - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley

Wake up early to enjoy the majestic sunrise view and have breakfast in the sunlight or inside the restaurant. Take a refreshing shower and meet again with your private driver/guide to resume your journey further west. Have a break in Erfoud, where you can visit the dates market and fossils and minerals factory, before driving through the palm grove of Tinjdad, leading us to the impressive Todra Gorge (Canyon). Stretch your legs and enjoy the views before continuing to the Dades Valley, where we will spend our night in a riad or hotel, which includes Dinner & Breakfast.

Day 4Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas Mountains -Marrakech

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you’ll drive to Marrakech through the Valley of Roses, where we may include a short break so that you can learn about their produce. Cross Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) to the dramatic Ait Benhaddou Village UNESCO lists this striking villageThe UNESCO lists striking village as a World Heritage Site due to its unique architecture consisting of many Kasbahs (fortresses) with four high towers, small windows, and tiny doors.

After lunch, you’ll drive through the spectacular High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m).
