8 Days Tour From Casablanca Itinerary

Day 1Arrival In Casablanca

Begin your 8-day Morocco tour with a warm welcome in Casablanca, Morocco’s thriving commercial metropolis. Upon arrival, you will be able to admire the splendor of the Hassan II Mosque, an architectural marvel that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The elaborate features and lofty minaret of Morocco’s largest mosque make it a sight to see. After admiring the mosque’s beauty, take a leisurely stroll down the Corniche, a lively seaside promenade. Later, check into your accommodation and relax, getting ready for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

We depart Casablanca today for Chefchaouen, stopping in Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Discover the ancient attractions of Rabat, such as the tranquil Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the famous Hassan Tower. Travel north to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen, which is tucked away in the Rif Mountains, after taking in Rabat’s rich history and culture. Get lost in the tangle of blue-washed passageways that are lined with traditional handicrafts and colorful bougainvillea. In the peaceful setting of Chefchaouen, unwind and revitalize.

Day 3 Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

A visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ancient Roman remains of Volubilis, marks the start of today’s trip. Admire the exquisitely preserved arches, columns, and mosaics that take you back to the Roman Empire. Next, visit Meknes, an imperial city where history and splendor collide. Explore architectural marvels like the Royal Stables and Bab Al-Mansour. Finish your day in Fes, the cultural center, where centuries-old customs are brought to life and little lanes lead to hidden gems.

Day 4Guided Tour of Fes

Fes is one of Morocco’s most popular tourist destinations, with a rich cultural, architectural, and historical heritage. It is Morocco’s spiritual and cultural center. Furthermore, it is a multicultural city inhabited by Berbers, Arabs, Jews, French, and others. As a result, on the first day of our 7-day travel from Fes to Marrakech, we will visit some of Fes’ most remarkable landmarks.

First, we’ll look at Al Quaraouiyine University, one of the world’s oldest, if not the first. Following there, you will come across the magnificent Royal Place, with its gleaming bronze gates. From there, we’ll go to the Mellah, Fes’ Jewish quarter, which is well-known for learning about the city’s history with the Jewish community. Fes’ Jewish background is reflected in its early twentieth-century buildings.

After seeing the Jewish district, we will go to the Chouara leather tanneries, the largest in Fes. Tourists primarily visit for shopping. Our tour will show you the most essential and valuable sights in Fes. Finally, we’ll return to the Riad and spend the night.

Day 5Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes

Today begins with an early departure from Fez for Merzouga via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Enjoy a pleasant journey through Berber settlements. Stop in the picturesque city of Ifrane (known as “Moroccan Switzerland”), proceed to Azrou, the famous cedar forest where you may view monkeys, and then pause in Midelt for lunch.

After lunch, we continue to Erfoud via Ziz Valley. On the way from Arfoud to the dunes, you’ll witness various nomadic Berber tribes. Arrive in Merzouga, where camels await you for an exciting ride to witness and enjoy the spectacular sunset. You will have dinner and listen to Berber music around a campfire before sleeping in a luxury desert camp.

Day 6Merzouga Sahara - Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

This morning, you’ll rise with the sun to see what we hope will be a beautiful sunrise over the dunes. This is certainly worthwhile and is the focus of our Morocco desert tours! Following breakfast and a quick wash, we travel by camel to a small hotel and begin our journey to Dades Valley, passing via Tinjdad and viewing Todgha Gorge, Morocco’s highest oasis valley gorges. We continue to Boumalene Dades, where we will see the Dades Gorges and stay overnight for dinner and hotel accommodations.

Day 7Dades Valley - Roses Valley - Skoura Palm Groves - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After a delicious breakfast, we will journey to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate to explore the Atlas Studios.

Ouarzazate is the gateway to the Sahara Desert and the start of the Thousand Kasbahs Road. Its name in Berber translates to “without noise.” This city also has the world’s largest solar energy facility. Many movies and television shows, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones, were filmed in this stunning location.

Then we’ll head to Ait Ben Haddou’s Kasbah and fortified village. We’ll stop here to take in the views of the village and valley from the top of a hill. You will also have the opportunity to take some beautiful shots. Finally, we’ll pass through the 2260-meter-high Tizi N’Tichka pass. Stop to take in the spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Arrival in Marrakech late afternoon overnight at a hotel or riad.

Day 8Marrakech to Casablanca Airport

As your 8-day Morocco tour comes to a close, say goodbye to Marrakech and begin the final step back to Casablanca. Along the route, enjoy magnificent views of Morocco’s various landscapes.
