Days Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour

Day 1Marrakech - High Atlas - Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Valley of the Roses - Dades Valley

Our driver will pick you up at 8 am at your Marrakech Riad / Hotel; he will take you to the 4WD and depart from Marrakech to Dades Valley through the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. From Marrakech to Dades Valley, you will enjoy the scenic drive, beautiful landscapes with different colors, and the Berber villages along the way. You will have free time here to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO site and the Cinema studios in Ouarzazate and have lunch.

Afterward, you go further southeast to the verdant Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses via the fascinating Skoura Palms grove. Dinner and overnight in Dades Valley

Day 2Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, there is time to walk by the Valley before continuing to Todra Gorges, which is very different there. Lunch will be here in the gorges or later on the way to the Erg Chebbi dunes. We drive there via the Tafilalte Valley and the villages of Tinjdad and Erfoud. In the afternoon, you will have the adventure of an hour of camel riding in the Sahara. We will pause to see the spectacular sunset from the top of the dunes. Overnight in a luxury desert camp.

Day 3Merzouga Desert – Middle Atlas Mountains – Azrou – Ifran- Fes

We will wake you up early to watch the sunrise at the dunes and breakfast before riding the camel to the Edge of the Dunes, where our driver will pick you up and start driving via the province of Errachidia via Erfoud to Ziz Valley and Gorges, where we will take a break for some pictures. Lunch will be at Midelt. Through hills covered in forests of cork oak and giant cedar, there is an opportunity to see the Barbary Apes, one of the only native monkeys of the Atlas Mountains. Our journey continues towards Ifrane and the Middle Atlas before ending at Fes. Night in Fes El Bali

Day 4Guide tour in Fes - Chefchaouen

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour in Fes, the oldest of Morocco’s four “Imperial Cities.” The medieval city of Fes El Bali, the “Old Fes,” remains complete and is unspoiled. During your tour of this part of the town, you can visit the exotic Bou Inania Medersa), the Medina, and the Kairaouine Mosque, where you may take photos of the wonderful courtyard from the main gate and the famous souks.

After lunch, we will drive to northern Morocco’s blue town through the Rif mountains to Chefchaoun for four hours to reach this beautiful blue town on the hills of the Rif. You will have free time to Explore its winding lanes and narrow alleys, home to numerous souks offering cuisine and artisan works—night in Chefchaoun.

Day 5Chefchaouen - Rif Mountains - Tangier

On our last day of the tour in Morocco, you will have a free morning to explore the beautiful town of Chefchaouen before we drive you to Tangier and drop you off at your hotel, the airport, or the port.
